In the year 2000, President Greg Blevins returned to South Texas after 15 years of employment with Enron, where he served as Advisor on the Northern Border system. At that time most companies were sub contracting project management and operations due to hiring freezes. From the corporate side of the industry Blevins learned that an honest contractor was very pleasing to work with.
That’s where Bottom Line Services (BLS) began.
Having worked in most aspects of oil and gas industry for 23 years was a big plus for starting this new company. BLS began working contract operations for a major producer. Soon project management opportunities developed on numerous facilities and pipelines.
In 2003 Vice Presidents Terry and Lisa Jackson joined the BLS team, bringing 40 plus years of experience in the oil and gas industry to the table. Terry previously worked as a pipeline construction superintendent in New Mexico and Lisa served as office manager.
Under the leadership of Blevins and the Jacksons, BLS now had extensive industry experience which covered production, operations, construction and maintenance of treating, processing, compression and transportation of natural gas.
The new DOT regulations for Operator qualifications were taking effect and the management team made an aggressive approach at becoming qualified. This was a key point for the company.
Today BLS employs between 150 and 200 employees, from project management to labor.
Bottom Line’s success is attributed to honesty.
To this day we feel that our honesty and dedication to each project is the reason we are still here.
